Spiralizing Vegetables. Just frying. Without salt and lots of vitamins. Low calories food.
Time needed for preparation and cooking: approx. 10 min.
for the Veggie Pasta
1 big (horse) carrot
1 tablespoon of good olive oil
1 clove of garlic
a bit of black pepper out of a pepper mill
2 tablespoons of home made almond pesto
This is how it’s done:
Spiralize the carrot and the zucchini with a spiralizer. It did it with a hand-held one. (Read more.)
Pour one tablespoon of olive oil into the pan. Let it get warm. Add the vegetable spirals and the whole garlic clove and fry at medium heat that the vitamins are not destroyed by strong heat. Steer it continuously for about 5 min. The Zucchini is now soft and might melt on your tongue, the carrots are still crispy and give you something to bite. Take the garlic out.
Arrange the spirals on a plate. Pepper it and place the two tablespoons of pesto in the middle. Ready to serve. Voilà.
